Who is responsible

BoopCar is provided by Ricardo Gomes, Portugal, who is the data controller for this website and for demo requests. Contact: geral@frazas.pt.

This website

The website has no analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. Fonts, images and films are served from this website.

If you choose a language, your browser stores only that choice on your device.

Our hosting provider processes technical access data, such as IP address and request time, to serve and protect the website.

Demo requests

The demo form prepares an email in your own email app. The website does not store or send it. When you email us, we receive your name, dealership, contact details and the car you are looking for.

We use them only to reply and arrange the demo, as a step at your request before a contract. We keep them for up to 24 months after our last contact, or for as long as you are a customer and the law requires.

The BoopCar app

BoopCar runs on your Windows computer. Your requests, results, settings and the sign-in for your AI account are stored on that computer, with credentials encrypted. We do not receive them.

To run a search, the app sends your request criteria and the content of the listing pages it reads to OpenAI, using the ChatGPT account or OpenAI API key you connected. That processing is governed by OpenAI’s terms and privacy policy.

The app visits the car sites you turn on through Chrome on your computer, as you would.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy, by writing to geral@frazas.pt. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (cnpd.pt).

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its date.
